Holland Landing Airpark (Newmarket Hare Field), , is located adjacent to the south end of Holland Landing, Ontario, Canada. The airport is mainly used for training but tenants also offer charter, advertising and sightseeing services. The largest building is a hangar owned by Silverline Helicopters. The smaller hangar belongs to Future Air. It is situated on 40 acres in the Town of Holland Landing, just 3 miles north of Newmarket, Ontario and 5 miles south of Bradford, Ontario. It is home to a very large heated hangar, approximately 30,000 square feet. This highly maintained, diverse airpark is ideally situated and provides the best of both worlds. To the south is the busiest airspace in Canada and to the north is the uncluttered Canadian northland. All of this provides a superb training environment for pilots of all abilities and interests. Holland Landing Airpark offers one paved runway with a fully paved taxiway and apron. Runway 08/26 is 2200' long. The airpark and airspace is uncontrolled and communication is broadcast to Holland Landing traffic on 123.2 MHz. The airport is below class C airspace with a base of 2500asl. When arriving from or departing to the south you must contact Toronto terminal (133.4 MHz) for clearance at this altitude. Consult the VNC and CFS for airspace restrictions and all airport information. Arriving by Land The airport is located 8 km (3 miles) north of Newmarket on Holland Landing Road, east of Hwy 11 (Yonge Street) and north of Green Lane. Noise Abatement Procedures Holland Landing Airpark has installed a noise abatement policy to maintain the highest possible level of safety standards and noise control. Departure Procedures Holland Landing Airpark departure procedures are as follows: Off runway 08/26: Maintain runway heading and climb to 1000ft AGL before turning.
